The Chatham County Justice Center was designed to complement historic downtown Pittsboro while providing modern judicial facilities for a growing county. The building consolidates the offices of the Clerk of Superior Court, District Attorney, Public Defender, Community Corrections, and other judicial staff into a single facility. Four courtrooms and three hearing rooms provide ample space for judicial proceedings. The new facility draws aesthetic inspiration from and is sited directly south of the historic county courthouse, maintaining a close relationship with the civic landmark.
