The Student and Academic Services Building (SASB) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill houses a mix of student, academic, and administrative spaces, providing a centralized gathering place for a diverse campus community. SASB accommodates multiple departments, including the Center for Student Success and Academic Counseling, Campus Disability Services, the university’s honor system, and the Dean of Students' Office. The design team worked closely with stakeholders to design an efficient and functional workspace for all users. The building was designed to recall the historic nature of the campus and integrate seamlessly into the campus master plan.
