Overlooking an urban intersection, this recreation center’s glass curtainwall displays the vibrancy of campus life and draws students to the activities within. The 27,200-square-foot facility includes a large open fitness area, an aerobics/multipurpose room, and a health education area, all organized around a running track. Lightweight construction was used to allow for future expansion. A large blue entrance canopy enhances the presence of this one-story structure while prominently displaying one of the university’s colors.
